Can I migrate from Hospitable to Hostella?+
Yes. Reservations + properties move via a CSV import (built into onboarding). OTA connections re-authorise once — Airbnb requires re-linking with the new app; everything else continues working in parallel during the switch.
Will my existing Airbnb / Booking.com listings break?+
No. Hostella connects via iCal sync for read-only calendar today (full Airbnb API is in review). Your Hospitable connection stays intact during the transition — you can run both side-by-side until you cut over.
Is Hostella actually cheaper than Hospitable?+
Depends on portfolio size, currency, and what you need. Hospitable can be cheaper on pure PMS software pricing. Hostella is priced as a premium AI guest-ops layer with EUR billing, EU residency, and BYO API support. Use the calculator above for your exact numbers.
What happens to my data if I want to switch back?+
Hostella exports CSV + iCal for all reservations and guests. We do not lock data in — our Trust Center documents the full export procedure publicly. Switching is reversible.
Does Hostella offer the $5M damage protection Hospitable bundles?+
Not yet — that's on our roadmap. We integrate with Safely and Superhog for damage protection + guest KYC, which is what most operators use anyway. If bundled damage protection is your #1 criterion today, Hospitable is still ahead.
